I am pleased to be able to announce the imminent, and long-awaited, release of the next two volumes in the CD series "Doctor Who at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop".

Doctor Who at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop Volume 3 - The Leisure Hive
BBC Music WMSF6052-2. Released 18th March 2002.

Peter Howell's complete score from this first story of season eighteen, remastered in stereo. Featuring the Yamaha CS80 and Roland 100M synthesisers in full flight! Also features Peter's new arrangement of the theme music (opening and closing titles versions), and a selection of sound effects from "The Leisure Hive", "Meglos" and "Full Circle".

Plus: Bonus track - the first ever true stereo remix of Delia Derbyshire's definitive 1963 version of Ron Grainer's theme music, taken from the original makeup elements. The release is dedicated to the memory of Delia Derbyshire, who died last year.

BBC Music WMSF6053-2. Released 18th March 2002.

Music by Peter Howell and Paddy Kingsland from the second and third stories of season eighteen. Remastered in stereo. More Yamaha CS80, EMS Vocoder, Roland Jupiter 4 and CR78 drum machine, Oberheim OBX, Yamaha SY2 - analogue synth heaven!

Both releases compiled, produced, and remastered for compact disc by Mark Ayres.
