A great stalwart of the folk scene throughout the years much in demand as a singer of fine old county songs There is rarely a night goes past where Ray and Mary are not supporting some folk event or other.They are great organiser helpers, arranging chairs, setting tables ,pushing posters and really are our links to what else is going on in the area folk-wise.
A fine local author of prose and poetry, Pat adds another string to the bow of our multi-talented membership.
A welcome return to one of the mainstays of the club in its earlier days. Chalky's fine singing and dextrous playing reminds us just why the standards of this club are so high and why it has been so successful in surviving the ravages of time (a bit like Chalky himself).
Two very fine individual singers who have recently burst into song.
Anne has a fine collection of traditional songs and the ideal voice to present them. Jane has a more exotic range of material and constantly surprises us with her selections. Both ladies are a brilliant addition to the club's repertoire.

Another wonderful singer, with a grand collection of quite gruesome ballads, wonderful variiants on what we thought of as folk standards, and a typically weird Derbyshire/Shropshire sense of fun. A great asset to our club and much prized.
