Why FISCHKOPP ?

(FISCHKOPP = engl. FISH HEAD)

Well, I moved to the southern part of Germany a few years ago. And because 

I lived pretty close (200km/120mi) to the Northsea before all my friends here 

called me

FISCHKOPP.

So you can imagine why that name. Northsea -> Fish -> FISCHKOPP

It's a kind of a funny nickname and I really like it(now).

Now I am about 800km/550mi away from the Northsea and I love

it down here near Stuttgart but I still have my nickname.

As you can see on my ART Page I am also trying to do some

drawing and painting. I try it  since I was a little kid. When I have time I

 do some new paintings/drawings. Right now I have not that much time

so that there a not so many new ones.

I work on my Homepage since 1996 and I am glad that the

Compuserve Server offers now 5MB Diskspace. Enough room for

my pic's. The graphic stuff is edited with PAINTSHOP PRO 4.14,

ImagePals 2 GO, PC Paintbrush. The HTML Code is mostly written by

myself (took me some nights) but now I am using the 

Netscape Composer (it saves a lot of time). I am not using Animated

GIF's or Java because I think the Internet is slow enough already.

To scan the Photo's and drawings I use my MUSTEK Paragon 600II

Scanner. My 'old' Pentium 60 PC is fast enough for me but not always

for the Software! :-) 

It has 5.9GB Diskspace (SCSI) and 48MB of Memory.All the surfing

stuff is going through a 28.8 Modem.
