ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
1. The Falcon Motor Club will promote a Clubsport Permit Classic Reliability Trial on
Sunday 11th March 2000. Starting and finishing at, 'The Big Pub', Graveley, Nr Stevenage
Herts. (MR 166/214291).
2. The meeting is held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association
Ltd (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA), these
ASRs and any written instructions the promoting club may issue for the event.
3. Permit Number: 57886 has been issued.
4. The event is open to all fully elected members of the organising club and members of
The Motor Cycling Club.
5. Club membership cards and competition licences will be inspected at signing on.
(Note from Michael - As this is a clubsport event you actually don't need a competition
licence).
6. The first competitor will start at 09.01, and the remainder at one minute intervals
in numerical order. N.B. Competitors must be ready to start after scrutineering. Late
starting penalties will be applied to all competitors
Scrutineering will start at 08.00. Scrutineers will issue numbers, which must be
produced at signing on. Competitors should have signed on at least 30 minutes before their
starting time
Public roads will be used to link sections. The route will be approximately 80 miles
long and include at least 12 sections and two special tests. A route card will be issued
at the start, and competitors failing to follow this will be excluded from the results.
Route checks and a mid route time control may be operated
7. The following classes apply: -
1. Front engine front wheel drive production cars (except vehicles in class 3 & 6)
2. Production cars manufactured prior to 1941, and the following.
MG TC, Morgan 4/4 series I, HRG 1100, & 1500, and Ford models (upright models to
1959) EO4A, E494A, E4930A/B, E93A, £943A& 103£.
3. Front engine rear wheel drive production saloon cars and fron engine front wheel
drive production
cars fitted as standard with torque-biasing or limited slip differentials or any device
which is designed to achieve the same result.(except vehicles in class 6)
4. Rear engine rear wheel drive production saloons upto and including 1300cc (except
vehicles in class 7)
5. Front engine production sports cars (except vehicles in class lor 6)
6. Rear engine rear wheel drive production cars (except vehicles in class 4)
b. Front engine production cars fitted with a torque-biasing differential as original
or optional equipment.(Except vehicles in class 3)
7. a. Production cars modified beyond the permitted limits for the above classes
b. Rear engine production cars fitted with a torque biasing differential as original
equipment
c. Front engine cars manufactured on a limited basis conforming to accepted
specification These cars comply with either or both of the following. -
1) Have the rearmost part of the front seat cushion(s) forward of any part of the rear
tyre and 2) Have a wheelbase of 90ins (228.6cm) or greater. 8. a. Non production cars.
b. Rear engine cars (except vehicles in classes 4,6 & 7)
c. Front engined cars manufactured on a limited basis (except those in class 7),
including those
which either I) do not have the rearmost part of the front seat cushion(s) forward
ofany pan of the rear tyre or 2) have a wheel base of less than 90 inches (2286 cm) Classification
will be entirely at the discretion of the organisers
8, All vehicles must comply with MSA technical regulations
All vehicles must display a current tax disc and be insured for the event (see item 9)
Where legally required, the vehicle must have a valid MOT certificate
All vehicles must be effectively silenced A noise check may be made.
All vehicles must be fitted with a means of having a tow rope secured quickly This must
be of sufficient strength to withstand the snatch of a tow from a recovery vehicle
All vehicles must have the provision for the fixing of competition numbers near the
vertical position at both the front and rear of the vehicle.
All tyres, including spares, must comply with MSA regulationM.6. 73
Any vehicle failing to comply with roadworthiness requirements will not be allowed to
start All vehicles should carry a fire extinguisher.
