Hallo lieber Besucher unserer Seiten, das sind wir ! Links, das bin ich (Peter) und rechts, das ist meine Frau (Sandra). Wenn Eure -wie unsere- Lieblingsmusik HEAVY METAL heisst, dann können unsere Webseiten vielleicht interessant für Euch sein. Wir kommen aus Köln und engagieren uns bereits seit einigen Jahren auf kultureller Basis in der hiesigen Musikszene. Ich habe bereits Anfang der 80er Jahre meine Liebe zur metallischen Musik entdeckt und von 1984 - 1991 das Fanmagazin LIVE WIRE mit gegründet und mit herausgegeben. Um weiter junge Bands unterstützen zu können, habe ich 1993 SPEEDY Musikpromotion ins Leben gerufen. Im April '93 habe ich mit der POWER METAL GODS - Europatour mithelfen können, zwei meiner absoluten musikalischen Lieblinge, nämlich ANVIL und TITAN FORCE aus Kanada und den U.S.A. in unsere Breitengrade zu holen. Für unsere absolute Lieblingsband, JAG PANZER aus Colorado, U.S.A. machen wir einen internationalen, für jedemann kostenlosen Fan Club. Im September 1996 haben wir mit vielen freiwilligen Helfer in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kölner Kulturamt zum Zweck des internationalen Kulturaustauschs und zur Förderung von lokalen Bands das COLOGNE METAL MEETING Festival ins Leben gerufen. Auf unsere Einladung spielten dort IN FLAMES aus Schweden, BLACK VIRGIN aus den U.S.A., sowie die lokalen Bands THE COMPANY, WOLFEN und GUERRILLA zu Gunsten der Kölner AIDS - Hilfe e.V.. Eine Fortsetzung des COLOGNE METAL MEETING gab es 1997, an zwei Tagen haben dort FROZEN ILLUSION, ENDART, PURGATORY, NIGHT IN GALES, ENSLAVED und ORPHANAGE, sowie AGES GONE, EXHUMATOR, SCANNER, HAMMERFALL, JAG PANZER und GAMMA RAY gespielt (wieder zu Gunsten der AIDS - Hilfe). Dann veranstalten wir seit 1992 in wechselnden Locations eine monatliche Metalnacht und Treffpunkt für Fans und Musiker aus der Gegend namens HEAVY METAL MAYHEM (pausiert derzeit).Über all diese unsere Aktivitäten könnt Ihr auf unseren folgenden Webseiten etwas lesen. Hello, dear visitor of our pages, this is us ! On the left side, this is me (Peter) and on the right side, this is my wife (Sandra). If your favourite music is called HEAVY METAL, then these pages might be interesting for you. We're from Cologne, Germany and since a couple of years we are working -on cultural base- in the local music scene. I already discovered my love to the metallic music in the beginning of the 80's and from 1984 - 1991 I was one of the editors from the fan magazine LIVE WIRE. To continue to support young bands I founded SPEEDY Musicpromotion in 1993. In april 1993 I had a chance to invite two of my absolutely favourite bands, ANVIL and TITAN FORCE from Canada and the U.S.A. for a European tour which we called the POWER METAL GODS tour. For our absolutely favourite band, JAG PANZER, from Colorado, U.S.A. we are doing an international, for everybody free fan club. In September 1996 we were setting up a festival called COLOGNE METAL MEETING with the help of many people and the cultural department of the city of Cologne. The reason was that we wanted to support an international exchange of culture and support some local bands and the festival helped getting money together for the local AIDS - Help - Foundation which who did a campaign against aids there. So we had IN FLAMES from Sweden, BLACK VIRGIN from the U.S.A. und the local acts THE COMPANY, WOLFEN and GUERILLA. In 1997 we were continuing the COLOGNE METAL MEETING for a second time. On two day the bands FROZEN ILLUSION, ENDART, PURGATORY, NIGHT IN GALES, ENSLAVED and ORPHANAGE played and AGES GONE, EXHUMATOR, SCANNER, HAMMERFALL, JAG PANZER and GAMMA RAY (supporting the local AIDS - HELP foundation again). Since 1992 , we organize in different locations a monthly metalnight and meetingpoint for fans and musicians, called the HEAVY METAL MAYHEM (paused at the moment).
