Site Update History

This page lists significant updates to The Observatory as they occur.   Since this site is very new and under construction, at this point I probably won't list minor corrections, fixing bad links, etc.  To avoid cluttering my navigation section, this page is linked only from the main page, though it links to all the topic pages.

Obviously, I stopped updating my "updates" years ago!  But as of March 26, 2006, I'm reloading the site from a new computer, so the dates shown on each page for "last revised" are quite meaningless.

July 10, 2001 -- Started the "Flashes" sections (Hot Flashes and Political Flashes), with an article in Political Flashes.

May 21, 2001 -- Posted "Final Recount" to the Politics section.  Posted Galley sim to the Simulation Software page, along with an update of Spring Style and a text copy of the inline notes for the space sims.

April 15, 2001 -- Posted "A Sorry Episode" to the Politics section.  Full update of Simulation Software page: latest Springstyle and Big Gun, updated Planet (climate sim); added space sims Starship, Spacewep, and Fusion; update notice added to main page, and the Fiction and Speculation and Science and Technology pages.
