| Calvin Coolidge famously declared that "The business of America is
business." He was wrong -- the game of America is
business. People don't work the stock market, after all, they play it. Being a game, it is not particularly morally uplifting -- if you want moral uplift, go to church. At its worst, capitalism is the oppression of Man by Man (communism was the reverse). At its best, it is a social system based on prostitution: everyone a hooker, everyone a john. So put on your fishnet stockings and head out for your street corner ... |
