I edit a small magazine called Springboard, which is aimed at providing help and companionship for writers. I've had so much poetry sent in which I couldn't put into the magazine that I've started to put as much of it as I can into a supplement called The Curate's Egg. The reason for the title lies in the old Punch cartoon about the curate's reply to his bishop when asked about his egg: Yes, my Lord, it's good in parts. Poets who get published earn themselves a free copy of the magazine and perhaps take a small step towards winning greater recognition.
If you share my interest in writing short stories or poetry you might like to get in touch.
I pity you friend. I would have crossed over to you and given you first aid, believe me. I would have taken you in or at least phoned for an ambulance but you see the road that separates us is an ocean. So all I can do I'm afraid is carry on and dine at the inn by myself.
