Ramona is the 'founding mother' of the Maison Forte Cattery. Her pedigree recalls the earliest days of Forest Cat breeding, which began in Switzerland in 1983. Her father, Guldfakse's Arild (DK) and grandfather, Pan's Tinto (N) were the first two NFO males imported into Switzerland, and her great-grandmother, Torvmyra's Orchide (N), was one of the first two females. (The second female was Draga av Trollsfjord from Margarete Leleithner's cattery in Germany.) By way of Pan's Tonny, on her mother's side, her ancestry stretches right back to Pan's Truls.
Ramona had two litters with Thorbjørn du Bocherex, and their line was carried on by their daughter Funny Girl de la Maison Forte and Funny's children, Huckleberry Finn, Holly Golightly, and Hedda Gabler de la Maison Forte (father of the three was Raymonde Maillard's EC Uzziel du Bocherex).
