What Is A Learning Disability?


A person with average or above average intelligence who is unable to learn by traditional teaching methods MAY have what is called a "learning disability."

Possible characteristics include:

Persons with learning disabilities are said to have a "hidden handicap" because they appear deceptively "normal." They look the same as everyone else, but they do not learn in the same manner.
