Welcome to the Learning Disabilities Association of Texas home page! LDAT is a nationally affiliated non-profit parent/professional organization chartered in 1963 to promote the education and general welfare of individuals with learning disabilities. LDAT membership includes parents, educators, adults with learning disabilities and professionals from a variety of related fields.

LDAT does not endorse or recommend a particular person, publication, method, therapy, institution, product or treatment. It does, however, present without partiality many ways to assist those with learning disabilities in reaching their full potential.
