Needless to say, only the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide considers the latest developments in the DRM scene such as
- the MAYAH DRM2010 portable receiver (described on page 207 of the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide) that has been available since APR 2004, see several product tests such as that of 31 MAY 2004 here and in Radio-Kurier Weltweit Hören 01 AUG 2004, see here;
- the Coding Technologies DRM Digital World Traveller (page 207 of the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide) that has been presented on 11 SEP 2004 at IBC 2004 and tested on 21 NOV 2004 here and in Radio-Kurier Weltweit Hören 01 DEC 2004 and in Shortwave Magazine FEB 2005;
- the excellent Ciao Radio H101 portable DRM receiver box (page 208 the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide);
- the Fraunhofer DT700 professional DRM receiver (page 208 the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide).
Just for the record, 'World Radio TV Handbook' 2005 knows nothing at all about all this. It states on page 50 that "Dedicated DRM receivers are still not commercially available". And that was that. What a shame!
What's more, only we - and nobody else! - inform you about the latest DRM products available in 2005:
- ELAD offers its brandnew FDM77 receiver that covers 50 kHz to 60 MHz and decodes DRM, AM, FM, LSB, USB and ITA2. The 10712 and 45512 down-converters are available for DRM signals reception as well.
Only the 2005 Shortwave Frequency Guide features a gigantic broadcast frequency list with 9,336 entries, and a superb alphabetical list of stations as well. On the other hand, our business attitude is more customer-oriented. As you can clearly see from the above samples, our unique layout represents by far the most clearly arranged frequency and schedule tables worldwide. Year after year, we pay tenthousands of EUR for the high quality of our data. Year after year, our famous databases are totally revised - from scratch!
