Broadcast Transcription Discs
- Much has been written about the Golden Days of Radio. Books with pictures. Many general. Some well indexed. But "Broadcast Transcription Discs" takes a different approach from these. It leads the reader into graduated levels of technicality and probes into the background and complexity of it all. We want to be able to get as much of the true sound as possible out of those transcription grooves. Also, there are reasons why broadcasting grew up in the USA the way it did entwined with the telephone industry, motion pictures, electronics, phonograph records, performers, sponsors and the public. Typical of "The Audiophile's Technical Guide" and "Playback Equalizer Settings", there is a section in "Broadcast Transcription Discs" dealing with specific transcriptions and the detail of how they're played back.
- This manual is still in preparation and availability will be announced.
- Pricing will be the same as the other manuals we publish.
