In March of 1992, Council 8150 pledged $5000 toward a new church building at Holy Spirit Parish in Kent, WA. The building was completed in and dedicated in 1995. Here Grand Knight, Kevin McGillis makes the final $1000 payment on the pledge to Father Frank Walsh. Also pictured are acolytes and KC members Rod Cosgriff (left) and Jim Scheffield. Fund raising for this purpose included three years of operating a food booth at the Kent Cornucopia Days street fair and a number of family breakfasts.
