London Homestay was established by Jan & Catherine Kratke 8 years ago because we like meeting people from different parts of the world and helping them enjoy London without having to pay a fortune. Late Bookings are welcome because we operate a 7 day flexible service.

We offer a personal, caring service and try to match guests and families perfectly and are happy for you to send as many E Mails as you like telling us about yourself and your requirements. After getting to know you, Catherine can choose your Host family from the broad spectrum of Host families we have registered with us.

We can accommodate anyone from the Single women travelling alone who would prefer an all female environment, Language and Work Placement students who want to spend time with the family to improve their English to Couples wanting a cheap,clean and cheerful room in a friendly family home.

London Homestay has over the years has forged strong links with an excellent reasonably priced English language school in the West End . The school has an International environment and social life plus offers courses in Business English. (No prior registration or payment needed just arrive for an assessment and start immediately.)

London Homestay is a network of Families who provide visitors with quality comfortable value for money accommodation, by accommodating THEM in their own homes. Host family accommodation is used by people who like the COMFORTS WHICH FAMILY LIFE GIVES plus want GOOD QUALITY, FRIENDLY, COMFORTABLE accommodation at a FRACTION OF THE PRICE which is charged by Hotels. The cost in Pounds is from 12.50 per person per night for B&B. We are able to offer Families and Groups Discounts, therefore please ask for a seperate quotation. Additionally we are pleased to be able to offer self catering rooms with full kitchen facilities at from 11.00 per person per night. To cover our administration costs we charge a small booking fee. Our host families live in the leafy London suburb of Woodford which was Winston Churchill's constituency. The advantage of living in Woodford is that you live with congenial hosts in good quality private family homes in a safe friendly family neighbourhood. Woodford and South Woodford have their own Central Line Tube station. (Journey time to central London is 20 minutes.)
