I am Juergen Hermann and I live in Stuttgart, Germany.

I teach at Evang. Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik Stuttgart.

I'm a psychodramatist and, since I heard about

PLAYBACK THEATRE

- (it was in 1986) -

I have been very enthusiastic about this form of spontaneous improvisational theatre.

PLAYBACK THEATRE was founded in 1975 in the Mid-Hudson Valley in New York by the psychodramatist Jonathan Fox , New Paltz, N.Y. and the original Playback Theatre company. Since then, mostly through word-of-mouth and personal contact, Playback Theatre has found its way into hundreds of settings and locations throughout the world.

In Playback Theatre someone tells a story or moment from their life, chooses actors to play the different roles, then watches as their story is immediately recreated and given artistic shape and coherence. Playback Theatre honours people's story and connects them to each other, creating a deeper sense of community.

Since 1986 I have been an actor in

Playback Theater Schweiz - Switzerland.

And since 1995 I have been leading an own group in Stuttgart, Germany.
