I am a family history researcher with over 30 years experience of UK research covering various counties of England and Wales.

Over the years I have collected together a great deal of data on the families I have interest in and most of this is available in GEDCOM format. I am happy to share my datawith others who have interests in the families I have researched so please E-mail me if you are interested in any of the families listed in my indexes.

My interests cover the counties of Cornwall, Cumberland, Devon, Dorset, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Lincoln, London, Middlesex, Monmouthshire, Pembrokeshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Yorkshire and the Channel Islands. In addition many of my files include people from other counties but who stem from families from the counties above. Similarly I have interests in Australia.

Please note, however, that with common Welsh names eg Jones,Davies, Morgan, Evans, Lewis, Thomas, Williams the chances of a link into my database are fairly remote. These names are so common that without fairly specific dates and places it is very difficult to check them against my database. Research into such families is quite feasible, but is likely to be subject to a charge. Please see my Research page (link below).

I also have interests in some specific areas of research eg Local, National and European History, Seamen/Mariners, Bristol Channel Pilotage, Whitby, Yorkshire Lifeboats, Peerage and Royal families of Europe. Other non genealogy related interests include Jazz, Classical Music, Opera/Operetta,Music in general, Model Railways, Model Cars, Model Soldiers, The British Countryside and traditional British way of life, Nature in general. This is the website belonging to my son, Robert, who lives in Sussex. It is largely a family site with details of his family and pictures of my grandchildren etc
