If you see error messages on your screen when you try to send and receive email using Outlook Express, check the following settings:

Open Outlook. Select "Tools > Accounts". Select the "Mail" tab and click on the name of your IMAP account. Click on "Properties".

Click on the "General" tab. Your "E-mail address" should have "@cs.com" after it.

Click on the "Servers" tab. Your "Account name" should NOT have "@cs.com" after it. "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" should NOT be checked. "My server requires authentication" should be checked. Click on the "Settings" button and choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

Click on the "Advanced" tab. "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" should NOT be checked for either server.

If you change any of these settings, you must close Outlook and start it again.

You must connect to CS2000 before you run Outlook.

If you still have trouble, check your CS2000 Parental Controls. Connect to CS2000 with your primary member name. From the top menu, choose "Access > Parental Controls". Choose "Set Parental Controls Now". Now check the "E-mail Controls" settings for each of your member names.
