VICE PRESIDENT EDUCATION The Vice President Education (VPE) is responsible for planning successful Club meetings so that each member has the opportunity to achieve his or educational goals. The VPE directs planning, organization and implementation of the Communication and Leadership Program, Speechcraft and other educational programs. The VPE schedules speeches Charts, reports educational program completions promptly to World Headquarters, and coordinates recognition of member achievement. VPE is the second-highest ranking Club officer, presiding at Club and Executive Committee meetings in the absence of the President. The VPE ensures that each new member receives orientation to the Toastmasters educational program, including assignment of mentors. Duties:

Plans dynamic Club meetings. Promotes the Toastmasters educational program to Club members. Orients new members to the Toastmasters program and to the Club. Makes sure all members understand the importance of excellent evaluations and know how to evaluate. Arrange for Speechcraft and other Success/Leadership Programs to be conducted inside or outside of the Club. Arrange for the Club to conduct Youth Leadership Programs. Encourages members to participate in other Toastmasters activities and programs. Administers speech contests. Organize a Speakers Bureau. Chairs the Education Committee. Attends and participates in Executive Committee meetings. Presides in the absence of the President. Attends and votes at Area and District council meetings. Votes at Regional and International business meetings.
