Duties of Officers

TREASURER
  The Treasurer is responsible for he development and execution of financial policies, procedures, audits and controls.   The Treasurer receives and disburses funds in payment of all obligations, and develops and recommends a budget to the Club Executive Committee.  The Treasurer also notifies members of dues payable and collects the dues.  Along with the Vice president Membership and Club secretary, the Treasurer ensures semiannual membership reports, due and membership roster are mailed to World Headquarters and received there by October 10 and April 10.  The Treasurer is the sixth-ranking Club officer. The Treasurer

  1. Prepares an annual budget for the Club.
  2. Provides the bank with a new signature card.
  3. Notifies each Club member in writing of dues payable.
  4. Collects payable dues and fees.
  5. Issue checks so World Headquarters for semiannual membership dues/New Member Fees.
  6. Pays all bills promptly.
  7. Keep complete and accurate records of all financial transactions.
  8. Presents a verbal and written financial report monthly.
  9. Submits Club account for audit.
  10. Responds to Internal Revenue Service or other government agency inquiries and makes sure the Club has an Employer's Identification Number (U.S. only).
