This quarterly magazine is the cornerstone of the BSG and it is sent free to all members. It aims to provide a link and information between Stickmakers and Stickdressers, as well as collectors.

Members are invited to submit articles offering advice and assistance on many subjects ranging from cutting, seasoning and treating shanks, working horn and wood, tools, methods and also the renovation and repair of old sticks.

Also included are sections dealing with the various groups of stickmakers around the country, articles of interest and members' letters. There are advertisements for tools and materials as well as information on stickmaking courses.

The Stickmaker is a magazine written for stickmakers by stickmakers and contains a wealth of information. It will be of equal use and interest to both the experienced craftsman and the person wanting to know how to make their first stick.
