EARLY HARP HOMEPAGE

Delightful, exuberant, full of flair and virtuosity, and often very beautiful...

What IS an 'early harp'?

The term 'early harp' includes all the various kinds of harp that were played in the centuries BEFORE the modern, orchestral pedal harp was invented: medieval harps, renaissance harps, baroque harps; Irish harps, Italian harps, Spanish harps; as well as less well-known but related instruments like the arpanetta, psaltery, and rotta.
