During week 38, the KZK Cargo Carrier Kazereck was engaged by WCE Men-o'-war as it lifted from the planet's surface. The Kazereck successfully fled the field after taking moderate damage. The WCE warships were once again unharmed. Later in the week, an armed ground assault was mounted by forces of the KZK Central Command. After a brief, but intense battle all colony defense forces were eliminated and Piccadilly was captured by the KZK.

During week 39, three WCE warships engaged Piccadilly, now under the command of the KZK, in a space battle. During this battle significant damage was inflicted upon all sectors of the colony.

The announcement contained no further information. When asked to elaborate, the foreign ministry responded that no other announcements will be made at this time.
