Members of the TCA Council have long tasted the bitterness of the loss of Northcape to the IMPs some years ago and decided that enough is enough, it is time to reclaim what rightfully belongs to the TCA. Talks were held between members of the TCA and the IMPs, but a satisfactory agreement did not seem probable, especially in light of the fact that the IMPs have recently declared war on the FGZ, the TCA felt that the IMPs were not in a position to take their claim seriously.

A TCA scout ship moved into the system early this week to reclaim the system for the TCA and to warn all IMP warships to leave the system. Surprisingly, several IMP Dreadnaughts pulled out of Gudanval hours before the arrival of the TCA Defense Fleet, solidifying their recognition of the TCAs claim to Northcape.

The TCA asks that all merchant vessels temporarily avoid the area until such time that they can assure safe passage to all vessels. Plans are also in the works to liberate the Celtians and help set them up as an independant free association with full claim to Hammerfest and its surrounding space, similar to what the Kastorians in Boomer now enjoy.
