Prices displayed are in Stellars. The KMM would prefer payment in other materials such as Ores, in quantities of the approximate Stellar value shown. Please contact the Kazereckii Merchant Marine if you wish to negotiate a non-Stellar purchase price.
KMM Cargo Carriers are unlike our competitor's product in that ours are sold unspecialized, giving you the choice to use your vessel as you want instead of how we dictate. We also include a free certificate which is good for one use of our Troop Transport [A] specialization. The Troop Transport specialization facilities will be completed and available for use shortly, should you choose to have your Cargo Carrier retro-fitted as a Troop Transport.
The KMM are producing only 2-3 new Cargo Carriers per month. It is possible to reserve a slot for a given month by placing a non-refundable 10% deposit.
All Cargo Carriers are built and delivered at KZK Kommercia Hive, on the planet Petroom (SpSq 1738) in the Newbian system of the Capellan Periphery.
New Cargo Carriers (as opposed to ships being upgraded to Cargo Carrier) are sold as Seed Ships. If you wish to have yours Crewed or equipped, you'll need to make special arrangements with the Kommercia Hive DockMaster.
Delivery time varies depending on the model of Cargo Carrier being purchased. The 750,000 model will be available within 10 days of the last Hull delivery to Kommercia Hive. The 1,000,000 model will be available within three weeks of your last Ore delivery. The 2,000,000 model requires 30-60 days as we must produce the materials ourselves, and there have been several orders for this model which have depleted our on-hand stock of ores.
Delivery times may be delayed further if all production slots for the current month are already filled. Contact the Kazereckii Merchant Marine to determine production slot availability BEFORE you place your order.
If your need is critical and immediate, we can accomodate emergency orders for the 2,000,000 model within one week of receipt of payment. There is a 50% fee for the special handling involved in processing an emergency order of this type, and it won't be available if someone else already bought our spare and we haven't replaced it yet.
All payment must be made in advance of delivery of your Cargo Carrier. If you are purchasing the 1,000,000 or the 750,000 model, all ore or hull deliveries must be completed as well.
Payment is accepted in Stellars, but substitution of other items is preferred, particularly if the subsituted item is an Ore (no Metals, please) or Hulls.
The Kazereckii Merchant Marine has in the past negotiated bulk purchase discounts, and given Stellar credits for services rendered. Please contact the Interim Director of the KMM, Sr. Dzk Khanchr'a'Temps if you wish to propose something outside of the normal terms.
