Most of these names are from Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. My maternal ancestors started in the eastern part of Virginia. They then moved to central Virginia. As the country expanded they followed the migration to Kentucky. When the country started Industrializing, they moved to Ohio and Indiana. Here a few new immigrants were added. My Paternal ancestors started in Virginia and moved to what later became West Virginia. They settled in what would later become McCoy and Hatfield territory along the West Virginia and Kentucky border. My father moved from there to Ohio. Later his parents and most of is family followed. I ended up back in eastern Virginia!
