This was the day of the projected Znamya 2-5 experiment. At dusk, 1743 utc, Mir was visible with a rocket behind, as two stars in a “train” across the sky; but it then became evident that the mirror was not deployed. The SSTV was on, and this picture was taken from the later pass at 1913 utc. It was followed by darkness.
