"This has now arrived and I want to say how pleased I am with the gate which is very nicely made and packed very securely. But I will wait for slightly less bitter weather before I fit it!

What I did not tell you before is that I used to work in zinc, and your general galvaniser probably takes its zinc from the Avonmouth factory where I worked some years ago. Now I am a consultant to the industry. So this is partly why my gate had to be galvanised! although the fact is that galvanising is very cost effective when comparing life to extra cost. Zinc is a boring metal that does its job beautifully as an unsung hero. You are one of the only gate makers that offers a galvanised finish as a standard option, and in my opinion you are wise, and the public needs to be educated not to go for the cheapest price regardless of life.

Anyone who buys ironwork for outdoors and does not pay the small extra cost for galvanising, is making a poor long-term decision."

"From start to finish Flairmet provided us with an excellent service.

As part of a 2 story extension it was decided that we would have French doors in a new master bedroom. This presented a problem with what to do about standing at them

What we ended up with is an original work of art that adds both character and uniqueness.

Having found Flairmet on the Web we were invited to go to their workshops to discuss design. We had very little idea of what we wanted when we arrived. However, Jamie and Steve were very welcoming to the extent that they gave over their whole morning to the design of the Balustrading even returning from another job to ensure that we were able to get something that was a credit to Flairmet, very effective visually and totally practical.

Even the children were entertained being allowed to chalk on the floor, something they could never do at home!!

Once the Balustrading was completed there was no delay in the fitting of it such that we could occupy the new bedroom.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Flairmet to anyone that wanted something unique designed and made to individual specifications."
