To order any of these customised products on-line there are four steps to follow:

1. Select your choice of product/finish from our selection of weathervanes, brackets, pet memorials and lawn markers and add to the shopping cart;

2. Choose a shape (profile) which you wish to have and add this also to the shopping cart (the price for the shape is normally included in the price for the product you have selected);

3. Select any special options (fixings, special letters, design to order service etc) and add to the shopping cart;

4. Checkout and follow the on-screen instructions to pay using our secure service.

WEATHER VANE

Using high quality steel these hand-crafted weathervanes (also known a windvanes, weathercocks, whirligigs and wind compasses) measure approximately 90cm high (adjustable) and approximately 90cm wide (depending on which silhouette is chosen).

A truly robust construction, the silhouettes are 3mm thick and the complete weathervanes weigh between 11 and 12 kg (24 lb to 26lb)!

Flairmet offers a wide range of shapes for your weather vane together with a flexible fitting for fastening to a suitable wall, chimney or post. In addition to our standard shapes, for a small extra charge we will be pleased to design a vane especially for you, either using a graphic image supplied by you or one which we locate on your behalf.

Weathervanes are finished with a choice from quality black powder-coating, galvanising or galvanised with a powder-coated finish. Can be over-painted.

Note: for exposed and coastal areas a galvanised finish is recommended for minimal maintenance (see finishes).

Each weathervane is supplied welded and the few parts take only a few minutes to assemble. Complete assembly and fitting instructions are supplied. The kit comes in three parts - a welded silhouette top and arrow, a fixing bracket and the "compass" cross piece with the compass points already welded in place. A pre-greased ball bearing provides a virtually maintenance free pivot action, allowing the vane to align with the wind direction.

Various options are available for fitting to a gable end, a cupola and a roof top.

The bracket with shape is available in 16 in. (40cm) and 20 in.(50cm) heavy duty sizes and you can select from a wide range of standard shapes or choose a profile of your own.

Pet memorial or lawn marker

Marker with integral spike incorporating a shape of your choice. Ideal as a memorial for a pet or other lawn or border marker. Quality 3mm steel finished in black powder coating. Approx. 10 ins (30cm) wide by 15 ins (45 cm) high, depending on shape. Spike is approximately 1 foot (30 cm) long. Price based on standard shape with up to 15 characters. Specify lettering with order. Extra characters can be added for a charge.
