Large pedestal cauldrons and other wrought iron planters
not only bring a touch of elegance to the traditional floral display, but the
cauldron shape gives important extra planting capacity for better growth and
water retention. This makes them perfect for commercial applications in town
centres, large houses, shoppings malls and other visitor attractions.
The Civic range of wrought iron style products is designed for
local authorities, parks, companies and stately homes, and offers superlative
designs to brighten up public spaces. 
Used by several Britain in Bloom Finalists including
Stafford, which was awarded the silver-gilt prize for large towns in 2002.
Britain in Bloom is organised by The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and aims to encourage
the improvement of local environments by utilising good horticultural and
environmental practices, and by involving all sectors of participating
communities. Flairmet's products regularly feature amongst prize-winning
winning entries.

The elegant
cauldron shape gives more room for compost, better water
retention and plenty of room for roots to flourish.

The standard finish for our wrought iron planters is
powder-coating. This is better than plastic coating as it can be repainted (eg
to match house colours) if required. See
finishes. For low maintenance we provide galvanised
finish as an option. This is recommended in exposed areas, especially near to
sea water.

Flairmet recommends
Supamoss for lining your planter though sphagnum moss can
be used as well. For large planters chicken wire can help to bind the compost
together and use of a plastic bin liner can aid water retention (provided there
are sufficient drainage holes).

Pedestal cauldrons are ideal for making floral
displays. The cauldron shape gives unrivalled planting capacity for superb
'ball of flowers' effects.
The 16in. pedestal cauldron on a tubular, adjustable
stand is perfect for a really stunning floral display. It can be adjusted and
fixed at various heights from 32in. (80cm) from the ground at its lowest point
and 45in. (114cm) at its highest.
Includes screw-holes for more secure or permanent fastening.

The 24in. Pedestal Cauldron is available for really
spectacular landscape displays. It comes with a strong square hollow section
pole with fixing cross for concreting in position. The cauldron top is
detachable, and is secured in use by means of a vandal resistant allen key
bolt. Available to order in various heights of pole.
Note: when ordering quote required length of pole, including
about 12" (30cm) to go in ground. Standard prices include up to 8ft (2.4m)
pole.

Wrought Iron Hanging Cauldron Tree
Can be designed to varying heights and number
of hanging cauldrons. Also can be removable, as the cauldrons can be taken off
individually (they can be secured from theft by being screw fitted or using
security padlocks or bolts) and the pole and branches lifted out of the ground.
As standard (pictured), the tree is 20ft (6m) high and takes 20 hanging or
screw on
16" (40cm) cauldrons. The top 4 cauldrons are
screw on (fastened from beneath). The central pole is galvanised and
painted.
Also available is a galvanised underground
"sleeve" which can be concreted into the ground to provide a firm base for the
hanging cauldton tree.

Lamp Post Brackets with Baskets
Brackets designed to be fastened to a lamp post and combined
with hanging cauldrons for a superb floral display. The lamp post
bracket is made to order to suit various diameters of post and is suitable
for 13in. (33cm), 16in. (40cm) and 20in. (50cm) heavy duty brackets.
The brackets can be fitted with the security attachment to
deter theft of baskets.

MOSSABLE TROUGHS
The mossable trough looks
superb when planted. Perfect below a window or to break up a blank wall, the
bar spacing is close enough to be lined with moss in the traditional
manner.
The mossable troughs are available in three different
standard widths: 30" (75cm), 36" (90cm) and 41" (105cm).
