Jupiter and Io from The Hubble Space Telescope

Introduction:

The Skokie Valley Astronomers are a group of amateur astronomers located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. We meet on the second Friday of every month, 8:00 P.M., at Ryerson Nature Center, 21950 Riverwoods Rd., Riverwoods, IL  60015. Our club is fairly small, with about 40 members, so our meetings are somewhat informal, but we do have a speaker or presentation at every meeting. Weather permitting, members with telescopes set them up for observing following the meeting. New members at any interest level from beginner to advanced amateurs are always welcome. Interested non-members are welcome to attend our meetings. We are a member of the Astronomical League.
