AD792 - ANALOGUE - RS232 INTERFACE

Click here to view the AD792

The AD792 is a Four channel 12 Bit Analogue Interface which can be used as either an Analogue to RS232 converter device or as a stand alone intelligent Analogue Data Logger.

The AD792 accepts up to 4 Unipolar (0-nV) or Current Loop (4-20 m/A) Analogue inputs and converts these signals to ASCII coded data in the range 00000-40950. Additionally the AD792 can accept a 0-50 Khz TTL Frequency and 1 edge triggered TTL event input. The converted data can be transmitted on line via an RS232 link or Data can be logged to internal RAM for subsequent extraction by an attached host computer.

Intelligent features of the AD792 include a Menu structured Communications Protocol as well as Averaging and Scaling Functions. A TTL Set Point output is also provided for Flaging purposes.

The Heart of the AD792 is a low power CMOS Microprocessor allowing the AD792 to operate using 110V/240V AC Mains or 12V DC Battery power supplies.

The BS118 is an Interface device used for the integration of equipment with Parallel data outputs to computer systems which are equipped with a Serial RS232 comms port.

The BS118 converts a 47 Bit wide parallel word into a Serial RS232 data stream consisting of 12 Hex coded ASCII numbers in the range 0-F and terminated with cr & lf.

The BS118 also incorporates a built in Serial data triggered Fix Mark generator for the marking of Analogue Chart recorders.

Applications for the BS118 include the integration of Navigation Aids such as Artemis III, Trisponder RO3 and the Atlas Deso 20 Echo Sounder with PC based computer packages.

PRODUCT FEATURES:-

SM389 - SYLEDIS MR3 - RS232 INTERFACE

The SM389 is an Interface device used for the integration of the Sercel Syledis MR3 Navigation equipment to computers which are equipped with a serial RS232 Comms port.

The SM389 extracts data from an MR3 mobile in Byte Serial form and controls the Sercel signal hand shake to generate an RS232 data stream consisting of 24 decimal coded ASCII numbers. This data stream contains both range and locus information and is terminated with cr & lf.

Locus failures are also detected by the SM389 and coded into the RS232 data stream.

The SM389 also incorporates a built in Serial data triggered Fix Mark generator for the marking of Analogue chart recorders.

PRODUCT FEATURES:-
