1. Join us for Tree Walk Saturday March 21. Basic tree care demo begins at 9 a.m. and walk begins at 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Meet at Sennott Park in Area 4. In case of TOO inclement weather, check our web site, listen to our voicemail message at 547-1413. If you wish to be notified by email, reply to this message. Next tree walk is Sat. April 4 Fresh Pond begins at Red Pump House.

2. Several tree ordinances are now up on our website: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/DoanePerry/homepage.htm Check out Amesbury MA and Myrtle Beach, SC. If you know of any others, please send them to us, electronically if at all possible. Myrtle Beach has an interesting replacement tree policy. Woodinville WA has some tree retention plans for development situations. Which sections do you think we should include?

3. Time to start thinking about tree planting. Applications for Client tree program are available on the web site. Cost is $140; free at this point to Area 4 thanks to a UDAG grant from the Area 4 Coalition.

4. Artists, sculptors, wood workers: Help celebrate trees and wood at the Mount Auburn Cemetery Arbor Day Weekend and Bird Migration Celebration Saturday and Sunday May 2 &3. If you have art to display, reply to this message and you will get more information.
