Summerbridge students will be working with Chris Dewart this next month on Thursday afternoons to put up tree identification tags to help us identify the many different species of trees in the park and area around the high school. These tags are designed to come out so they may grow with the trees and thus can be used with future trees if anything happens to the current tree.
4. The Committee on Public Planting has an ordinance and is exploring what other public planting and tree boards do. Karen Carmean will share the results of research on what other boards do and how they work at an upcoming meeting.
5. Genie Johnston of Cambridge College has designed and taught short courses and workshops on trees which she is interested in doing.
