Softly falls the light of day
As our camp fire fades away
Silently each one should ask
Have I done my daily task?
Have I kept my honour bright?
Can I guiltless sleep tonight?
Have I done and have I dared
Everything to Be Prepared?

The Scouts know this as "Scout Vespers", and the Guides as "Canadian Taps". If only one organisation is present, you can replace "one" with "Scout" or ""Guide" accordingly, but for our joint camp fires we use the version above.
