Other people's favourite games and activities

Here are some other people's descriptions of their favourite games.

Jacqueline, of the 127th Edinburgh Guides, Scotland, says:

My favorite game is called dragons teeth.

You get into a circle with two people holding hands high in the air like a roof. Everyone has to run around and around saying dragons teeth while going under the arms. When the two holding hands shout snap they try and catch the person underneath their arms by bringing their arms down on top of them. When the person is caught they stay out until someone else is caught and they too hold hands and do the same as the other two catchers.

"Duster Hockey", from the 9th Bearsden Guides, near Glasgow, Scotland

First all you get a duster and tie a piece of string around it then you take old newspapers and roll them up into long cylinders and then cellotape them up.You then split yourselves in to two groups and line yourselves up along each side of the hall. Then number yourselves in pairs of 1 up to any number. Acording to how many people there are in your company. Then get a leader to call out a number then the pair whose number the leader shouted out has to run in to the middle of the floor and then both of them have to try and score a goal.
