For 1999, we are running a combined Jamboree on the Internet and Jamboree on the Air station for our three Districts: Hitchin Scouts, and Hitchin (West) and Hitchin (East) Guides. Drop back during the event for pictures taken as we go.This year, similarly to 1997 and , we again took part in JOTI with a session at Christchurch on Saturday morning. We used IRC to talk to fellow Scouts and Guides in Australia, the Netherlands and New Zealand, among other places. Here are pictures of our JOTI station.

The 7th Hitchin Beavers (and friends) were our first visitors. They chatted with Portugal, played hangman and did a quiz online.
