Have your say

Fri, 20 Jun 1997

Dear Melanie,

I would just like to say you are a great artist and as a performer myself you inspire me. I'm asking about the availability of some of your recordings, especially some of the ones in the 1980s. Are they available on CD, and, if not, will they be? I think if they were it would help your fans a lot, and help grow new ones. I am also an environmentalist and I try all I can to save Earth for my coming children. Thank you very much and I wish you success in the future.

Subject: CD's Madrugada and Garden in The City

I would like to see these albums put on CD format. My wife Corrina and I love Melanie's music. I had copies of these albums LP and Cassette but they were stolen or lost years ago. CD is my only hope of replacement.

Dear Melanie,

I have been a fan of yours for many years but find it impossible to acquire your albums in Ireland. I am interested in your new and old material, on CD preferably however cassette or vinyl would do also. Is it possible to order from you directly or can you tell me where I can get your recordings.

Please let me know!!

Is there any chance of "Stoneground Words" and "Madrugada" being released on CD? My copies on Vinyl are so well played that they can not be now at their best. Melanie and Joan Baez are may Favourite performers.

Dear David,

Thanks so much for all your tremendous work on behalf of Melanie's fans!

You might remember that I spoke to you a few months ago when I was living in England - I'm the fellow from Australia.

I'm hoping to organise an Australian tour by Melanie next year (maybe New Zealand as well) and was hoping you could publish my details on your Melanie pages. I would like to hear from any Melanie fans 'Down Under' who may be interested in helping with the concerts in some way. Please contact me if you have any questions about this. As you can see I'm living in Canada at present - at least until the end if September. Hope you can do this!

All the best,

MARK

Subject: Checked with Patti

Hi Dave,

I e-mailed Patti Petow about my CD order. They confirmed receiving it. They said they expect the CD out by the end of June at this point. I am hoping this all works out because twice burned would be a sorry situation at this point.

If anybody hears anything or receives their CD please let us all know.

Thanks and Be well,

Rose Lanaro

A: Everything looks okay - nothing to worry about - there was a delay because Melanie wanted to record the Christmas album, "Antlers", straight away. Checkout the Latest News and LowCountry pages for up to date info.
