2010 World bids were from Lake Karapiro (NZL), and the Bosbaan, Amsterdam (NED).  The NZL bid has been recommended by FISA;  the NED bid has been withdrawn & they will bid again for 2013.
FISA also announced that the 2010 Juniors will be at Racice (CZE).

2012 Olympic bids were as follows: London (with rowing at Eton), Paris, Madrid, New York City, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, Leipzig, Istanbul, & Havana.  On 18.5.04 this was narrowed to a short-list of London, Paris, Madrid, New York, and Moscow.  The decision was made on 6th July 2005, and awarded to London.
