Who Is CJac?

• I live in the "Big D", Dallas, Texas, USA.

• I have three children, boy-girl-boy.

  • I am blessed that they are doing well in school, and so far, none of them are of driving age!

• I am a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA or CQA, #4641) thru Quality Assurance Inst (QAI).

• I work for The City of Dallas (Texas)

  • I am the QA Change Manager in the Communication and Information Services Department

  • I am also the city's SAS software site rep, trainer, and in-house SAS consultant.

• I am active in SAS Users Groups.

  • I been a past SUGI Section Chair 

  • I have been a 3-time SCSUG Conference Chair

  • I am a co-founder and officer of SCSUG as the current president, and NoTSUG as the vice-chairman and newsletter editor.

• I am a proud US Army vet, and a member of the VFW.

My Resume and other stuff

I am ending my effort to start the "Dallas Association of Software Quality Assurance" (DASQA), a proposed chapter of the QAI  Federation.  However, Dallas is not without a QA group, and I refer you now to Metro-SQA group. Their focus is providing a forum for networking and learning for software testers in the DFW area. I hope to see you at their next meeting

Quality is Everybody's Job!

Quality is in the mind of the beholder! Depending on where you are in the product life cycle, "quality" will have different attributes. For instance, as a consumer of a product or service, quality attributes include price, ease of use, fitness for use. As a producer of the same product or service, quality attributes include meeting defined specifications requirements.
