Calgary and Area Beekeepers' Association

This Web Site is maintained for Members of the Calgary Beekeepers' Association

So, what's our bee club all about? Mostly, we are a group of really diverse characters - teachers, scientists, farmers, retired folks, environmentalists, anti-social-independent-types, needy people, nerds, geeks, and aeronautics engineers (I wonder if I left anyone out?) who have gotten together because we like honey bees. We support each other by trading ideas and equipment; we try to help our non-beekeeping neighbours through education programs, emergency swarm retrieval, apitherapy resources, honey supplies, and certainly by trying to enhance Calgary's meager supply of pollinating insects. Everyone - beekeepers and non-bee folks - is invited to join us at our meetings. You can start by contacting us through this web site!

Next Meeting: Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every second month; next meeting will be early October, 2006.

Calgary Beekeepers' Contact People: If you've got questions, need help, or if you are just simply lonely, these are not the best people to call. But, unfortunately, we are the only ones available...
