The wedding on October 26, 1918, of Violet Napier, Montrose, and Frank Haynes, Kent, Oregon, a Private in the 316 Aero Squadron, United States Air Service at Montrose. After the war they moved to the States, and were married for 56 years. Violet died in 1971, and Frank in 1978. The name of the best man is not known, but the bridesmaid is Annie Napier, Women's Royal Air Force, Montrose. Our thanks are due to her daughter Isobel Roy for picture and info. Back to Main Page
