Duncan Cameron and his working model of HMS Invincible, which will
be coming to this year's airfield event. Other items lined up are the Triumph
2000 register, who are bringing 100 cars to the event, with members arriving
from all over the country and Europe during the preceding week. There will
be the usual Vintage Vehicle Rally with vehicle runs each day, open to
all classes, the local model aero club, Clansmen Motor Cycle club with
their 'Moped Mayhem', the Range Rover Register, funfair we hope, autojumblers,
catering, Society sales, etc. If we can get a tank with a million gallons!
of water Duncan will sail his carrier, which has an inboard motor, for
the public (only joking, or are we?). As there will be no full-size aircraft
participating this year, public admission will be free. So make
the Broomfield Playing Fields, Montrose, Angus, your destination on July
24 & 25.
