Joining the Webring | Members

A Webring is a number of pages, that have something in common, linked together in a ring. You can use this ring by selecting one of the links in the table below, the equivalent of which will be found on each site in the ring. If you continue long enough, you will come back to the page you started from.

This ring, as its name suggests, is composed of pages owned by members of Compuserve's Internet Publishing Forum. Membership of the ring is only open to members of the Forum.

A list of the current sites in the ring is here.

Joining

If you wish to join the ring, read the rules below and then follow the steps indicated on this and later pages.

The rules are...

  1. Membership is limited to sites owned by members of Compuserve's Internet Publishing Forum.
  2. No 'adult' or 'warez' sites will be admitted to the ring.
  3. The ringmaster has the right to not allow a site in the ring and need not give reasons for his decision.
  4. The ring HTML code must not be customized without permission.
  5. A ring member must not edit the graphic without permission.
  6. A ring member must email the ringmaster if he decides to put the ring code elsewhere.
  7. Ideally, the ring code should be placed on the member's home page. Alternatively, it may be placed on a page specifically for Web rings, with a prominent link to that page on the home page.

If you agree to the above rules please fill out this form as the first step towards joining.

After completing the form, you should have been advised of your ring ID. You will also be advised by email. You will now need to add some HTML code to your site.

If you encounter problems, please send me an email.
