Notes:

Cf. John Paul II, Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae
(16 October 2002), 37: AAS 95 (2003).
At present, in different parts of the Church, there are many ways to introduce the Rosary.
In some places, it is customary to begin with the opening words of Psalm 70:
“O God, come to my aid; O Lord, make haste to help me”,
as if to nourish in those who are praying a humble awareness of their own insufficiency.
In other places, the Rosary begins with the recitation of the Creed, ...
... The Rosary is then ended with a prayer for the intentions of the Pope,
as if to expand the vision of the one praying to embrace all the needs of the Church. ...

... Is it any wonder, then, that the soul feels the need,
after saying this prayer and experiencing so profoundly the motherhood of Mary,
to burst forth in praise of the Blessed Virgin,
either in that splendid prayer the Salve Regina or in the Litany of Loreto? ...

October 7, 1992; Our Lady through Don Stefano Gobbi

... The chain, with which the great Dragon is to be bound,
is made up of prayer made with me and by means of me.
This prayer is that of the holy rosary.
A chain has in fact the function of first of all limiting action,
then of imprisoning,
and finally of making ineffective every activity of the one who has been bound by it. ...

'TLIG Prayer'
Jesus to Vassula, say this with Me (instead of "O my Jesus..."):

Jesus my only love,
I pray for those whom You love, but know not how to love You;
may they be purified and healed, so that they too be exempt from all evil.
Amen .

learn this prayer and say it after each decade in your rosary. Ic.

MY WEAPON I HAVE PLACED IN YOU AND THAT IS PRAYER

The Orthodox Rosary

Jesus to Vassula:

Lord Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on us.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on us.

I tell you if anyone prays this rosary (The Orthodox Rosary) to Me,
heaven will open to him and My Mercy shall save him.
Make your peace with Me, make your peace with Me.
Ask Me every day, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me the sinner.
Daughter, teach your brothers
(The Catholics) this prayer,
teach them to be in solitude and in silence while praying this rosary.
Embellish My Church, daughter .
Come, advance in purity of heart.

THE JESUS PRAYER

Remark: In Orthodoxy there is the practice of praying the Jesus Prayer
--"O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner" --
on a set of prayer beads, generally 100 in number (10, 30, 50 (150 Psalms)).
This tradition is especially upheld by Orthodox monks and nuns,
although a growing number of laypersons also make use of such beads.

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
(Saint Sr. Faustina, Sep.14, 1935)

"Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world." (I, 196- 197).

The next day, as she was entering the chapel, she repeated the inspired prayer.
Saint Sister Faustina received instructions from the voice within her
regarding the manner in which she was to recite the prayer she heard.
You will recite this chaplet on the beads of the rosary in the following manner:
First of all you will say one Our Father, one Hail mary, and the I Believe in God.
Then, on the Our Father Beads you will say the following words:
"Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the Hail Mary Beads you will say the following words:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.

In conclusion Three times you will recite these words:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal one,
have mercy on us and on the whole world."

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy as a Novena

Saint Sister Faustina wrote in her Diary:
"The Lord told me to recite this chaplet for the nine days before the Feast of Mercy."
It is to begin on Good Friday. Then He told me:
"By this novena I will grant every possible grace to souls" (II, 197).

A Plenary Indulgence...

may be gained when the Rosary is prayed in Church, in a Family Group, or in a religious community. Also:

A. Five decades of the Rosary must be prayed continuously.
B. The prayers of the Rosary must be prayed vocally and one must meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary.
C. If the recitation of the Rosary is public, the Mysteries of the Rosary must be announced.

A Plenary Indulgence can be gained only once a day (except those in danger of death).
To gain a Plenary Indulgence one must perform the indulgenced act. Three other conditions must be filled:

1. A Sacramental confession (must not necessarily be on the same day)
2. Eucharistic Communion
3. Prayers for the Pope's intentions
In addition, we must be free of all attachment to sin, even venial sin.
If this is not present or if the above conditions are not fulfilled the indulgence is only partial.
Both the plenary and partial indulgence may be applied to the dead.

A Partial Indulgence...
One may gain a partial indulgence for the Rosary's recitation in whole or in part in other circumstances.

Say seven Hail Mary's in honor of the Seven Sorrows of Mary:
  1. For Her Sorrow when Simeon prophesied Her:
    "A sword will pierce your heart".
  2. Next, the Flight into Egypt;
    while contemplating the Tears and Torments She endured at that time.
  3. The Child Jesus lost in the Temple:
    let this bring to mind the anguish She suffered because He was the Son of God.
  4. She meets Jesus on the Way of the Cross;
    the humiliation in which She sees her Son.
  5. The dreadful one, the most dreaful one:
    the Crucifixion and Death on the Cross;
    what She endured then - the Tears, the Anguish, the Despondency.
  6. The Descent from the Cross;
    that terribly disfigured Body which they carried together to the tomb;
    the part She had to play throughout this whole scene.
  7. Finally, the laying in the tomb;
    Her great Sorrow: Her Sadness. She suffered enormously.
