Church Approval

The canon law states the jurisdiction of alleged cases of miracles, apparitions, locutions, and so on.
In some cases it is:

  • The local bishop
  • Or the episcopal conference
  • Or the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Apparitions what are still going on, do not have an end report.
If they do not have an end report they do not have an end judgement,
provided that they are free of doctrinal or moral error.

Even a positive judgment of a fully canonnical investigation
does not alter a current status so long as certain prophesied events are still pending.

The usage of the term "Catholic" on these pages follows that of the Second Vatican Council,
which defines the Catholic Church as the church
"governed by the successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him."
(vatican-ii-constitution-21-nov-1964-Lumen Gentium, 8).

Messages of Jesus and Mary (status Aug.2000)

Our Lord is currently appearing to second year university student of Engineering,
called Barnabas Nwoye, (TXT file type, ZIP compression) of Enugu State, Nigeria.
A Theological Commission set up by Bishop Anthony Gbuji of Enugu State, to vet the revelations.
Four priests, four nuns and two lay faithful composed the commission.
Although few members of the committee expressed some reservations
on what Jesus had allegedly said about the current practices of the Church,
they concluded that the messages largely agree with Catholic doctrine.
The messages of 1997 – 2000 have received the Nihil Obstat of Rev. Fr. Stephen Obiukwu,
Chairman of the Propagation of the Faith, Archdiocese of Onitsha. Rev. Dr. Ayo Maria O.P.,

The earliest historical account of the veneration of St. Dymphna dates from the middle of the thirteenth century.
Under Bishop Guy I of Cambrai (1238-47), Pierre, a canon of the church of Saint Aubert at Cambrai,
wrote a "Vita" of the saint, from which we learn that she had been venerated for many years in
a church at Gheel (province of Antwerp, Belgium), which was devoted to her.

On the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross (or Triumph of the Cross)
we honor the Holy Cross by which Christ redeemed the world.
The public veneration of the Cross of Christ originated in the fourth century,
according to early accounts,
beginning with the miraculous discovery of the Holy Cross on September 14, A.D. 326,
by Saint Helen, mother of Constantine, while she was on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem --
the same day that two churches built at the site of Calvary by Constantine were dedicated.
The day after the dedication the Holy Cross was exposed to the public.
The observance of the Feast of the Exaltation
(probably from a Greek word meaning "bringing to light")
of the Cross has been celebrated by Christians on September 14 ever since.
In the Western Church, the feast came into prominence in the seventh century,
apparently inspired by the recovery of a portion of the Cross,
said to have been taken from Jerusalem by the Persians, by the Roman emperor Heraclius in A.D. 629.

Significant words which Pope Paul VI spoke in 1977, one year before his death,
and which are reported in the book "The Secret Paul VI" by Jean Guitton, on pages 152 and 153.

There is, at this time, a great turmoil in the world and in the Church, and what is in question is the faith.
And now it comes to me to repeat the obscure phrase of Jesus in the Gospel of St. Luke:
When the Son of man returns, will He still find faith on the earth?
There are books coming out in which the faith is in retreat on some important points,
the Bishops are remaining silent and these books are not found strange.
In my view, this is strange.
Sometimes I re-read the Gospel on the end of times and I notice that,
at this moment, there are emerging some signs of this end.
Are we close to the end? This is something we shall never know.
What is necessary is that we remain always ready, but everything can last a lot longer still.
What strikes me, when I consider the Catholic world, is that,
in the heart of Cathoticism, it sometimes appears that a pattern of thought prevails
which is not Catholic in character, and it can come about that this non-Catholic pattern of thought,
at the heart of Catholicism, could become the more powerful one at some time in the future.
But it will never represent the thought of the Church.
It is necessary that a little flock should remain. however little it be (Paul VI).

HOW TO DISCERN TRUE REVELATION FROM FALSE ONES or DISCERNMENT

Vassula, June 3, 1988

My Lord?

I Am. Vassula, never get discouraged; remember My Love I have upon you. Dearest soul, I love you with your weakness; you are frail; allow My Spirit to guide you; annihilate in Me, in My Strength. Dissolve in Me and let Me do everything so that they see that all this work is done by Me. You are nothing; stay nothing and leave space for My Spirit to grow in you. Yes, let Me breathe in your nothingness let Me delight in you; allow Me to use you in this way to redeem you all and to unite you .

Yes Lord.

Flower? These days I am teaching you to discern the true revelations and visions from the false revelations, false doctrines and false visions . Everything which is false comes from Satan; he sows seeds of confusion to blemish the Truth - like in Pescara (A false prediction for an apparition) He sows darnel among the wheat, confusing you all. Furious with the Medjugorje apparitions he tries to confuse you all - trying to label these Divine Works as not from Me . Daughter, when you read a revelation which openly expresses a disunion to My Church, denying Peter, denying your Holy Mother, know that they do not come from Me the Lord your God - they come from My adversary who appears and takes My Image to accomplish his designs which are to separate you as much as possible.

Know that I the Lord do not want My lambs dispersed; I want you united under Peter - all in one flock. I desire you all assembled together. I repeat again that I, Jesus Christ, the Lord, your Saviour, selected Peter to feed and guard My lambs and sheep until My return - this Peter who today is John-Paul II. Listen to what the Spirit says to the churches .

Vassula, Satan knows that his days are numbered and because of this the red dragon tries to pull with him as many souls as he can; he has introduced into many minds, these minds that should have been filled with spirituality and holiness, all sorts of diversions diverging you from the Truth and from all that is holy. Look around you My beloved and you will understand. All these diversions were introduced to you, children, as in the times of Sodom and Gomorrah, so that they fill your spirit, leaving no space for what is holy, leaving no space for Me your Creator and God . Yes, My Vassula, I feel rejected (The Lord was very... sad I can't find the word, sad is not enough) I feel forgotten and unloved. I, who died on the Cross out of love for you; I, who am the Spirit of Love - see how they treat Me? Do I deserve this?

My God, I feel torn within me Lord, why is it like that! Lord, oh Lord make a miracle please, I should not ask for miracles, but I love You and I do not want You hurt any more Lord .

Vassula, pray, pray, pray for this conversion . Satan is intensifying his works on My creation to drag you down to the Pit with him. O creation! How weak you are - how terribly weak you are ! Any revelation denying the Holy Eucharist, calling It ritual (Many call it tradition, dishonouring God) or denying the Immaculate Heart of your Holy Mother, does not come from Me . I, the Lord, love you boundlessly and wish to warn you once more from these false prophets .

Thank You Lord .

Love Me.

I adore You Lord.

We, us?

Yes Lord.

Karol Cardinal Wojtyla/Pope John-Paul II

September 1976 (before election as Pope John-Paul II, in 1978):
"We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through.
I do not think that the wide circles of the American society,
or the wide circles of the Christian community, realize this fully.
We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church,
of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel."

When the Pope John Paul II was in Fulda, during his visit to Germany (from 15th to 19th November 1980)
he was asked some questions by a group of people: one question was about the 3rd secret of Fatima
and another one about the "near future" of the Church.
One of the people present documented the exchange.
Names of witnesses are at the editorial office of the magazine "Vox fidei".
Below is reported the part of the text from two questions, published (in Italian) in that magazine (issue #10 - 1981).

Question: "What about the third secret of Fatima? It already should have been published in 1960".
Answer (of the Holy Father):
"Due to its shocking content and so as not to allow the global power of communism to interfere with the affairs of the Church,
my predecessors gave confidential information in a diplomatic way. In addition,
it should be enough for every Christian to know what follows: when you read that oceans will flood whole continents,
that millions of men will die very suddenly in a few minutes... if this is known,
it isn't really necessary to claim the publication of this secret...
Many people want to know it just for curiosity and sensationalism:
but they forget that "knowing" involves also responsibility... but they just want to satisfy their own curiosity.
This is dangerous when at the same time, they don't want to do anything, saying:
"It is useless to do anything to improve the situation!". Then the Pope took the Rosary and said:
"Here is the medicine against this illness! Pray, pray and don't question further. Recommend all the rest to Our Lady!".

Question: "How will things go with the Church?".
Answer (of the Holy Father):
"We must be ready to face great imminent trials, which could also require the sacrifice of our life for Christ...
The trials could be reduced through your and our prayers, but they can't be (anymore) avoided,
because a true renewal of the Church can take place only this way...
just as it has already occurred many times that the Church rose up again through blood.
It won't be different either this time. Let's be strong and let's get ready, having faith in Christ and in his Mother.
Let's pray much and often the Holy Rosary".

According to the narrative Dymphna, the daughter of a pagan king of Ireland, became a Christian and was secretly baptized. After the death of her mother, who was of extraordinary beauty, her father desired to marry his own daughter, who was just as beautiful, but she fled with the priest Gerebernus and landed at Antwerp. Thence they went to the village of Gheel, where there was a chapel of St. Martin, beside which they took up their abode. The messengers of her father however, discovered their whereabouts; the father betook himself thither and renewed his offer. Seeing that all was in vain, he commanded his servants to slay the priest, while he himself struck off the head of his daughter. The corpses were put in sarcophagi and entombed in a cave where they were found later.
The body of St. Dymphna was buried in the church of Gheel, and the bones of St. Gerebernus were transferred to Xanten. This narrative is without any historical foundation, being merely a variation of the story of the king who wanted to marry his own daughter, a motif which appears frequently in popular legends. Hence we can conclude nothing from it as to the history of St. Dymphna and the time in which she lived. That she is identical with St. Damhnat of Ireland cannot be proved. There are at Gheel fragments of two simple ancient sarcophagi in which tradition says the bodies of Dymphna and Gerebernus were found. There is also a quadrangular brick, said to have been found in one of the sarcophagi, bearing two lines of letters read as DYMPNA. The discovery of this sarcophagus with the corpse and the brick was perhaps the origin of the veneration. In Christian art St. Dymphna is depicted with a sword in her hand and a fettered devil at her feet. Her feast is celebrated 15 May, under which date she is also found in the Roman martyrology.
From time immemorial, the saint was invoked as patroness against insanity. The Bollandists have published numerous accounts of miraculous cures, especially between 1604 and 1668. As a result, there has long been a colony for lunatics at Gheel; even now there are sometimes as many as fifteen hundred whose relatives invoke St. Dymphna for their cure. The insane are treated in a peculiar manner; it is only in the beginning that they are placed in an institution for observation; later they are given shelter in the homes of the inhabitants, take part in their agricultural labors, and are treated very kindly. They are watched without being conscious of it. The treatment produces good results. The old church of St. Dymphna in Gheel was destroyed by fire in 1489. The new church was consecrated in 1532 and is still standing. Every year on the feast of the saint and on the Tuesday after Pentecost numerous pilgrims visit her shrine. In Gheel there is also a fraternity under her name.

St. Philomena was the daughter of a Greek king and queen, who, after conversion to Christianity, finally were able to conceive and bear her. She was given the name ‘Lumena' or ‘Light'as she had been born in the light of the faith of her parents. When baptized, she was called "Philomena'or ‘Friend of the Light.'

During her thirteenth year, Philomena traveled to Rome with her parents to petition the Emperor not to pursue his war on their small state. The Emperor agreed in lieu of Philomena's hand in marriage. This offer was quickly rejected by Philomena who had made a vow of chastity at age eleven. In an attempt to try to persuade her to marry him, the Emperor had her put into prison for 40 days, at the end of which he had her scourged. Angels came to her at night and healed her, which infuriated the Emperor. Next he had an anchor tied around her neck and had her thrown into the Tiber River. Miraculously, Angels broke the rope and lifted her to the shore without a single drop of water on her garments. This miracle converted several of the bystanders, but not all. Some thought her to be a witch and it was ordered that she be pierced with arrows. The archers shot their arrows, but the arrows were turned back upon them and six archers were killed. Finally, more furious than ever, the Emperor had her beheaded.

Many miraculous healings have been attributed to St. Philomena whose body is now found in the chapel of the Church of Our Lady of Grace in Mugnano del Cardinale, Italy. One such miracle took place when a woman dipped her finger in the oil of the lamp which burns in front of the altar of St. Philomena, and anointed the eyelids of her blind child with it. The child immediately received sight, to the astonishment of all present.

God has performed and continues to perform numerous miracles through her powerful intercession. Those known as devotees include St. John Vianney (Curé of Ars), Padre Pio, Pope Gregory XVI (who Canonized her), Pope Pius IX, Pope Leo XIII, and many others.

Tuesday, October 23, 2001:

Jesus said to us through John Leary: "My people,
this vision of the power in China being vanquished is a noble desire
to see religious freedom and My Word come to all the people of China.
You have been praying for the conversion of sinners here
and you are called to spread My Word here in every way possible.
I am reminding you with a little stronger direction that you also must pray for My pope son, John Paul II,
that he consecrate China to My Sacred Heart and to My Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Heart.
Just as I ask you to consecrate your hearts to ours every day,
it is only by this complete surrender that I can work through you.
Just as you have seen the effects of the consecration of Russia to My Sacred Heart and My Mother’s Immaculate Heart,
so this consecration of China is needed in a similar manner.
Continue to add this prayer for the consecration of China to your prayers for all souls all over the world
that they may be converted from their sins.
As the evil from sin has spread in the form of communism over this nation,
so the power of My death and resurrection have brought salvation to all of mankind.
Reach out and claim your healing of your soul
and help all souls through your evangelization efforts reach out also for My saving help.
With enough prayer and My pope son’s consecration, you could see this vision of the conversion of China come to pass."

Saturday, October 20, 2001:
Jesus said to us through John Leary: "My people,
I have asked you to spread My Word to all nations
and now you are taking your mission to China which is still under communist hands.
Many thought that the conversion of Russia would be impossible,
but with prayer and My help religion has been given new freedoms.
It was after My pope son consecrated Russia and with much prayer that you are seeing such progress in Russia now.
The conversion of China also appears impossible,
but you have witnessed the power of consecration and prayer.
All the rosaries said for the conversion of Russia are having their effect.
If you want to see China converted, you must mount another prayer campaign as you did for Russia.
There are many intentions needed for prayer,
but this conversion of China has very little time before the Antichrist comes.
You must double your prayer efforts for the cause of China.
This country is the most populous of the world and many souls are at stake here.
As you have prayed and helped Russia, now you must pray for China and its consecration.
If your pope would consecrate China, you could see another communist country ripe for conversion.
This is a big undertaking, but you have little time to struggle to save these souls.
You may be able to use My illumination of conscience experience to wake these people up to conversion.
I told you that you would have to work at a fever pitch to convert as many souls as possible after the Warning.
The more souls that you are able to bring to heaven, the more your reward will be in heaven.
Continue your evangelization efforts for as long as you can."

Thursday, April 22, 1999:
Jesus said to us through John Leary: "My people,
plans for undermining your country by attacking the family
has been a goal of the communists from the beginning.
A sense of victory over atheistic communism has only been a facade
to hide their real intentions of destroying your country.
Love of God and Love of Neighbor has been turned into love of self and love of things by your advertisers.
What is being taught in your schools is the reason
why your country is in decadence and headed for ruin.
You are reaping the harvest of your sins and the wages of sin brings death to the spirit.
Wake up to all of your evil ways before they consume you."
