Ken’s Baby Crock Pot BBQ Sausage Treats

I had the good fortune to attend a New Years gala Ken and Ellen’s home. The light from the windows of their log cabin home, nestled in a stand of spruce, cast a warm glow on the Alaska snow. It was a crisp clear night, there were good friends there and a holiday to celebrate. What could be more festive? Ken and Ellen set a splendid table. One of the offerings kept drawing me back for yet another sample. The preparation and serving dish was the same - a bachelor-sized crock pot and it fit perfectly.
Ingredients:

1 ½ 18-ounce bottles Bulls Eye Spicy Honey Barbecue Sauce
2 1-pound packages Hillshire Lil Beef Smokies

Preparation:

Place sausages and barbecue sauce in a crock pot. Heat on low for 1 to 2 hours before serving to meld flavors.

Use the crock pot as a serving dish and keep the sausages hot. Place a tray of long toothpicks along side.
