Pam orders Donna to stay away from Eric.
As Pam orders Donna to forget about Eric, Donna reaches for her phone to call the police. Pam reveals that she has a gun and instructs Donna to put the phone down. Donna threatens to call for Ridge to come downstairs. Pam laughs at that, as she knows that Ridge is working late, Owen just left and Brooke took Beth to the hospital, where Marcus is laid up with a snakebite. Chuckling, she asks Donna if it's a "coinkydink" that two members of her family were just injured. Donna threatens to make Pam pay for hurting her family, but Pam scoffs that the authorities haven't even come close to catching her. "It's been kind of fun on the other side of the law," Pam boasts, ordering Donna to stay out of Eric's life if she wants to keep the "lemon bar bandit" from striking again. Donna tries to reason with Pam, insisting that Pam is out of control from not taking her meds, but Pam insists that she's just where she wants to be, on a mission to reunite her sister Stephanie with Eric. Donna tells Pam that threats aren't necessary, but Pam doesn't see any other way to make Donna listen. But she has Donna's attention now after targeting all those Logans, so she orders Donna to back away from Eric. "If Stephanie doesn't get him, nobody does," Pam warns. Donna reminds Pam how sorry she was at Big Bear about causing Eric's heart attack, to the point where she prayed that Eric would come back to them. "To his family, to Stephanie, not to you!" Pam shouts, wondering if she should finish Donna off now. Donna pleads for Pam not to do that. She says that she wants to help Pam and offers to call Stephanie.

Brooke tells the others about Beth's accident.
Steffy, Taylor and Rick visit Marcus in the hospital. Taylor and Rick are glad that Marcus is OK. Stephanie drops by to check on Marcus and she's glad to see that he wasn't seriously hurt. Brooke and Beth come in. When Marcus sees his grandma limping, Brooke and Beth explain how Beth hurt her leg trying to avoid a hit and run driver who came after her. Everyone is worried, but Beth assures them that she's going to be fine. Ridge and Eric enter the crowded room. Stephanie asks Eric why he's here. Eric explains that he heard about Marcus and Beth and wanted to see how they're doing, and he's glad to see that they are both in good spirits. Eric asks if Donna knows about Beth, since she bolted out of his house earlier after learning of Beth's injury. Brooke tells him that Donna knows and thanks him for his concern. She thinks everything will be fine now that they know Marcus and Beth are OK. Marcus thanks everyone in the room for coming to check on him, since it means a lot to him. He then asks if he can have a moment alone with Eric, so the others take their leave.

Marcus asks Eric to give Donna another chance.
Alone with Eric, Marcus reminds him that Donna loves him so much, but Eric is having a pretty hard time forgetting what he saw. Marcus tries to explain how Owen took advantage of Donna when she was vulnerable. He knows it was wrong for Donna to seek comfort from Owen, but everyone in Eric's family was so cold to Donna that she felt like Owen was the only person she could turn to. He pleads for Eric to give Donna another chance, or at least to promise that he'll think about it.

Hope and R.J. ask where their mommy and daddy are.
Back at Brooke's, Pam scoffs at the idea that Donna wants to help her. When they hear Hope's voice outside, Pam hides while Donna goes to greet her niece and nephew. Hope and R.J. tell Aunt Donna what a great time they had at the movies and ask where their mommy and daddy are. Donna says that Ridge and Brooke are out and sends the kids upstairs to brush their teeth and get ready for bed. Once the kids are upstairs, Pam comes back in and tells Donna that she did a good job by not trying to use the kids to escape. Donna insists she wants to help Pam, who laughs that she knows Donna wants her dead. Donna begs Pam not to do anything to the kids, but Pam remarks about how adorable Hope is. Donna is stunned that Pam would hurt those kids, especially since she knows Stephanie would not approve. Pam tells Donna that everything is in her hands. All she needs to do to keep everyone safe is tell Eric to go back to Stephanie and then get out of his life. It's that simple.

Brooke eavesdrops on Steffy and Taylor.
In the hospital, Taylor asks Steffy to be her maid of honor while Rick asks Marcus to be his best man. Both Steffy and Marcus accept. As Rick chuckles that Marcus is the perfect best man since he only knows about Rick and Taylor's present without knowing their past, Brooke comes to the door and eavesdrops. Rick walks over to Taylor and tells her that he loves her. He kisses his fiancee as Brooke continues to watch through the door.

Stephanie and Ridge talk about Beth's accident.
Stephanie and Ridge stop in the waiting room for some coffee and discuss Beth's hit and run. After hearing Beth's account, Stephanie can't help wondering if what happened to Beth was intentional, but Ridge states that there are a lot of crazy drivers in L.A. Stephanie thinks it's very strange that both Marcus and Beth could have died after what happened to them.

Donna doesn't think she can get Eric to forget her.
Pam tells Donna to go to Eric and convince him that she's in love with Owen and their marriage is over. If Donna fails, Pam threatens to tan someone's hide, and it won't be a spray-on tan this time. Donna doesn't know how she can convince Eric of that after weeks of trying to win him back. Pam doesn't care how she does it. Even if it means giving the performance of her life, she wants Donna to convince Eric that their marriage is over. In doing so, she thinks Donna will find meaning in life, just as Pam found her true purpose in trying to reunite her sister with the man she loves. Pam recalls all the years she stood by and watched her father abuse and torture Stephanie, regretting that she couldn't do anything to help. She always asked herself why she was spared while her sister suffered in silence, but now she finally has the ability to give Stephanie something in return by saving her marriage, and she doesn't intend to let anyone, including Donna, get in her way. The doorbell rings, so Pam hides and orders Donna to count to ten and answer it, warning Donna again not to try anything funny.

Eric stops by to see Donna.
Donna counts to ten as instructed and slowly opens the door. She finds Eric standing there and asks what he is doing there. Eric explains that he just came from seeing Marcus at the hospital, where he also ran into Beth. He wants Donna to know how lucky her son and her mother are, since they had a horrible night, but he guesses that their guardian angel was on duty. More importantly, he bets that Donna must be worried sick after everything that happened today. Donna thanks Eric for stopping by to tell her that, but Eric informs her that he has another reason he came by. He tells Donna that he misses her and he misses being together with her, which is why he wanted to come over and do something for her. He passionately kisses her, but Donna pulls away from the kiss. Eric asks what's wrong. When Donna won't answer, Eric tells her to please open up to him, since he just wanted to talk. Donna looks petrified, so Eric asks her again what's the matter. Donna spies Pam hiding behind the curtains and watching as she makes a slashing motion across her throat with a finger as a reminder and a warning to Donna.
